Aside from announcing the extended hardware specs for the 2021 Nitro 5 in Malaysia, Acer has also launched a new gaming monitor for our market. Part of the Nitro QG1 Series, the new Nitro QG241Y P is equipped with a 23.8-inch Full HD VA panel.
The certified AMD FreeSync Premium monitor also has a refresh rate of 144Hz for HDMI which can be pushed higher to 165Hz if the user utilises the DisplayPort input instead. Acer also said that the Nitro QG241Y P has 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB) response time and support for HDR10.
Other than that, the monitor also offers NTSC colour gamut coverage of 75 per cent and a maximum brightness level of 250 nits. It also comes with several features to provide a more comforting viewing experience including flickerless technology and Acer BlueLightShield.
In terms of pricing, the Nitro QG241Y P gaming monitor usually goes for RM 749. To celebrate its launch, Acer is putting up the monitor as the grand prize for its Zero to Nitro’s AR challenge while gamers can also obtain it for slightly cheaper at RM 699 through Acer Certified Store by Aoneplus and NBP on Lazada as well as Acer’s official store on Shopee until 16 April.
