Huawei MateStation S Desktop PC Coming Soon To Malaysia; Powered By AMD Ryzen

Huawei is generally known for mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Now you can add desktop PC to the list too as the company is about to release the new MateStation S in Malaysia very soon.

You might have recalled the MateStation B515 that Huawei had launched back in November which was aimed at the enterprise market. Since both models have the same compact form factor, it is so easy to miss the differences between the front panel design that Huawei has equipped into both MateStation PCs:

The MateStation S (L) clearly looked less “enterprise” than the MateStation B515 (R).

In terms of specifications, the MateStation S is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G processor which is also inclusive of integrated Vega-based Radeon graphics with seven GPU cores. The Malaysian variant also carries 8GB DDR4-3200 dual-channel RAM and 256GB solid state drive.

The MateStation S also comes with the Huawei Ultra-Slim Wired Keyboard which features a built-in fingerprint reader that also acts as a power button for the desktop PC. Not only that, Huawei phone owners can invoke the Huawei Share feature by tapping their phone on the right Shift key of the keyboard.

Huawei also claimed that the keyboard features a scissor-switch mechanism and has a travel distance of 2.5mm. In Malaysia, the desktop PC will also come bundled together with a Huawei Display 23.8 that has a Full HD IPS panel and a 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

However, the company has not yet revealed the Malaysian release date and pricing for the MateStation S. We will keep you posted once we hear more or you can also keep a look for updates on Huawei Malaysia’s official store.
