One of ASUS’s main star during its recent CES 2021 outing was the ROG Flow X13 which the company referred to as the world’s most powerful 13-inch convertible gaming laptop. To accompany the new laptop, ASUS has also created the ROG XG Mobile which is a slim external GPU box that is equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics.
Given its exquisite nature, one may think that the ROG Flow X13 and ROG XG Mobile may only arrive into our market at a much later date. To our surprise, ASUS has recently informed media members during an online technical seminar that the company is planning to release them starting by the end of this month.
Specifically, the ROG Flow X13 will be released as three different options as shown in the presentation slides below:
When asked whether the ROG XG Mobile can be obtained as a stand-alone product, we were told by ASUS Malaysia’s representative that there is no such plan at the moment. At the same time, the company also stated that it has yet to finalise the pricing for the ROG Flow X13 as well as ROG Flow X13 and ROG XG Mobile bundle for Malaysia.
Naturally, we will keep you posted once we receive more information but it goes without saying that the ROG Flow X13 will not come cheap, especially for the ROG XG Mobile bundle. So, be prepared.
