The Epic Games Store is giving away free games every day until the end of the month. And based on the previous leak, we’ve gotten just past the halfway mark of the free games list. Today, that free game is Darkest Dungeon.
For the unfamiliar, Darkest Dungeon is a roleplaying game that features a mix of real-time movement and turn-based combat. One core feature of the game is the stress level of each playable character. This goes up with dungeon exploration and combat. And depending on the character, a high stress level may result in stat debuffs or even buffs.
The game was released back in 2016, and was made by Red Hook Studios. There is also the Darkest Dungeon: The Ancestral Edition, which comes with a number of DLCs for the game. Though only the base game is free on the Epic Games Store today.
So if it sounds like a game that you would enjoy, remember to claim Darkest Dungeon off of the Epic Games Store today before midnight. As for tomorrow, the free game is to be My Time in Portia according to the leaked list. The leak has been completely accurate thus far as well.
