Apart from its Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17, Razer also announced its refreshed Blade Stealth 13 gaming Ultrabook. The notebook is similar to the Blade Stealth 13 that launched back in April, save for one component: the CPU.
Instead of a 10th generation Intel Core i7 CPU, the new Blade Stealth 13 houses an Intel 11th generation Core i7-1165G7 processor, with a base and boost clock of 2.8GHz and 4.7GHz, respectively. It also marks the first Razer laptop to ship out with Intel’s new Tiger Lake CPU lineup.
The second major change to the Blade Stealth 13 is its 13.3-inch display. A Full HD OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate is still on the table, but instead of 4K panel as an alternative, Razer is offering a Full HD OLED Touch panel instead. The brand argues that this option is better than 4K, as it allows the company to provide the display with a higher brightness level, better colours, improved viewing angles, and better battery life.
Besides that, the rest of the components inside the Blade Stealth 13 remain largely unchanged; you get the same 16GB LP-DDR4X RAM running at 3733MHz, a 512GB NVMe SSD, and last but not least, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti discrete GPU.
The Blade Stealth 13 also retains its 15.3mm thin form factor, as well as its 1.4kg average weight. Like all Razer products, the laptop also comes with Chroma RGB and anti-ghosting technology for its keyboard and THX Spatial Audio. In terms of connectivity, we’re looking at two USB 3.1 ports, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm audio combo port. It also supports Wi-Fi 6.
At the time of writing, Razer said that the Blade Stealth 13 will be made available in Malaysia sometime in November, although no exact date was given. Pricing will start from RM8999 for the model with a Full HD 120Hz display, while the variant with the Full HD OLED touch screen will retail at RM9999.
