AMD’s 4th generation Ryzen 500 series CPUs are set to launch next month on 5 November and needless to say, the buzz and excitement for the brand’s new lineup is high. To sweeten the deal further, the company will be bundling a free copy of Ubisoft’s upcoming Far Cry 6 with every purchase of its new CPUs.
To be fair, AMD’s promotion isn’t just limited to its new Zen 3-based CPUs, but also for a few of its Zen 2, Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. The list includes:
- Ryzen 9 5950X
- Ryzen 9 5900X
- Ryzen 7 5800X
- Ryzen 9 3950X
- Ryzen 9 3900XT
- Ryzen 7 3800XT
The promotion will go into effect on two dates: the first is on 20 October for the Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, while the second date will be the launch of the new Ryzen 5000 series. Oddly enough, the promotion does not extend to the Ryzen 5 SKUs for both Ryzen generations, but AMD’s marketing is understandable.
Once the promotional period goes live, those who purchase either of the listed CPUs will have until 30 January 2021 to redeem the code, a little more than two weeks before its 18 February 2021 availability. Barring any delay by its studio and publisher, of course.
