LG officially announced its free replacement program for power boards of its OLED TVs. The program is a response to an initial recall, where the brand was forced to recall several of its OLED TVs due to overheating issues.
Specifically, LG’s free power board replacement service will be available to a total of 18 OLED TV models, manufactured between February 2016 and September 2019. The TV models themselves are listed in the table below:
If you happen to be one of the customers who own any of the models above, and your unit is suffering from overheating issues, you can contact LG directly at 1800-822-822. Do note that if your LG TV happens to be suffering from overheating issues but is not listed in the table above, you will not be entitled to the free power board replacement, unfortunately.
