ZOTAC Malaysia has been making waves in the news cycle lately as the brand has started to offer its existing GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards with massive price cuts. It goes without saying that deals are being offered in preparation for the upcoming RTX 30 series cards and ZOTAC Malaysia has provided a hint regarding the price of its RTX 3080 for our market.
In a post through its official Facebook page, ZOTAC Malaysia has stated that its GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity graphics card will be released into the market for under RM 3500. As you might recall, NVIDIA has recently revealed the general starting price of RTX 3080 in Malaysia as RM 3360 which is not far off from what ZOTAC Malaysia is hinting here.
According to ZOTAC’s official website, the GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity is equipped with the IceStorm 2.0 cooling system which features three fans alongside three groups of aluminium heatsinks that also contains seven copper heat pipes. There are also die-cast metal plates on both the front and back part of the card that is apparently meant to strengthen the card’s physical structure.
The card also comes with two customisable RGB lighting zones although, in terms of technical capability, the card didn’t deviate from NVIDIA’s stock specs though. However, ZOTAC Malaysia didn’t reveal when exactly it is going to launch the card though, so expect to hear more updates from the brand very soon.
