Sid Meier’s Civilization VI (Civ6) is finally available on Android devices. Downloadable via Google Play, the game is being distributed on the mobile ecosystem via app publisher Aspyr.
Civ6’s availability on the Android ecosystem also completes the game’s availability across all major platforms and operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.
On that note, and just like its iOS counterpart, the game is free to download and you’ll get a 60-turn trial before you’re prompted to purchase the game. At which point, you’ll be prompted to pay US$20 (~RM83) if you wish to continue to play the game. Like all mobile game titles, Civ6 also has some in-app purchases that also include the game’s two expansions, Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm. On that note, the pricing for the in-app purchases range between RM22.99 and RM184.99.
Just a slight word of caution: the game’s file size is a whopping 4.22GB, making it even bigger than Call of Duty Mobile. So, you’re going to want to make sure that your phone has sufficient storage space before you download it.
