MyEG has introduced a new subscription scheme for its Nak Beli eCommerce platform. With the Nak Beli Flexi Value Plan, customers can enjoy substantial savings on fresh produce, meat, poultry and seafood.
Nak Beli sources these fresh products directly from local farmers and fishermen, with the aim of helping them to achieve a steady income via the service. At the same time, MyEG also hopes that this platform would provide Malaysians an alternative to shopping in wet markets and supermarkets during these trying times.
The new plan will be available at RM100, RM200 or RM500 per month, and pay at discounted prices. According to MYEG, the duration for the plans range from one month, three months, six months, or 12 months with savings of up to 50-percent.
“Groceries purchase is a significant percentage of most households’ expenditure,” said company managing director TS Wong. “With a subscription model, we are able to commit steady orders directly with the farms hence passing on the savings to our subscribers.”
