The mid-year 7.7 sale will commence later at midnight on various online shopping platforms in Malaysia. If you’ve been on the fence on picking up either the recently released OPPO Reno3 Pro or last year’s OPPO A9 2020, this would be a great time to seriously consider your purchase as both devices will be placed on attractive discounts during the sale on Lazada and Shopee.
The Reno3 Pro was launched locally in May and is the high range variant of the series. To quickly recap, the device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,025mAh battery. Camera-wise, it sports a rear quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP main, 13MP telephoto, 8MP ultra-wide angle, and a 2MP mono camera. Housed in a pill-shaped cutout on its front display are two front facing cameras including a 44MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.
Originally launched at the price of RM2,399, you can now pick up your own OPPO Reno3 Pro during the mid-year sale at only RM2,099 on Lazada and Shopee later tonight. And at about RM300 off for a recently released phone, is considered a pretty good deal. Alternatively, you could also consider getting the phone on both shopping platforms with an added one year extended warranty or screen protector warranty from OPPO at the price of RM2,238 respectively.
Moving on, we have the OPPO A9 2020 mid-ranger which was released in November of last year. Despite being a predecessor to the more recent A92 model, the A9 mostly features similar specifications – save for the display and fingerprint sensor placement. The phone packs a 6.5-inch display, Snapdragon 665 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, and a rear fingerprint sensor. On its back is a quad camera setup consisting of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide, 2MP secondary, and 2MP depth. Meanwhile, on its front is a 16MP selfie shooter housed in a waterdrop notch.
The A9 2020 was released at the price of RM1,199 during launch, and had recently been reduced to RM999. During the mid-year sale, it will be discounted at RM879 on Lazada and Shopee and will include a free phone case while stocks last. Additionally, you could also get the phone at a greater discount at midnight tonight for a limited time, exclusively on Lazada. From 12am to 2am, OPPO is offering the OPPO A9 2020 at only RM799, which is RM200 off from the original price.
