Sony has announced that the pre-orders for the upcoming ZV-1 vlogging camera is now live on their official website until 30 June 2020. As previously reported, the camera is slated to launch in Malaysia from July onwards.
As a quick recap; the ZV-1 is a compact camera designed mainly for vlogging use. It is equipped with a 20MP 1-inch sensor with a 24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens, and is capable of recording 4K videos at up to 30fps and 1080p at up to 120fps. The camera includes a variety of features including Face Priority auto-exposure with eye-tracking autofocus, among many others. On its back is a vari-angle LCD screen which can be repositioned accordingly.
Those interested in pre-ordering the new camera may choose either the device on its own, or packaged with a VCT-SGR1 shooting grip. The Sony ZV-1 on its own retails at RM3,399, while the camera + shooting grip bundle is retailing at a promotional price of RM3,598 (RM3,798 prior to discount).
