Following last month’s teaser, looks like Microsoft is finally ready to release its latest Surface into retail stores in Malaysia. Judging from the listing on several authorized Surface retailers, local consumers can pre-order Surface Go 2 and Surface Book 3 starting from today onwards.
So, let us start with the smaller Surface Go 2. According to Microsoft Authorized Store on Lazada and Shopee, the device will be made available starting from 18 June.
Pricewise, this is how it looks like:
RM 1955: Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y / 4GB RAM / 64GB eMMC / Wi-Fi only
RM 2655: Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y / 8GB RAM / 128GB solid state drive / Wi-Fi only
RM 3455: Intel Core m3-8100Y / 8GB / 128GB solid state drive / LTE-Advanced
As per the tradition with Surface products, the price above does not include the Alcantara-based Surface Go Signature Type Cover which currently available for RM 578. Alternatively, there is also the standard microfibre Surface Go Type Cover that is priced at RM 420.

If you need a Surface Pen to go (heh) with the new tablet, then there is an additional RM 399 cost to your purchase. Meanwhile, different retailers might have different pre-order bundle for Surface Go 2, so do check them out through this list at Microsoft Malaysia’s official website.
