Samsung Malaysia has officially announced that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be making its way into our market soon. This is not exactly surprising tough as the tablet has appeared on SIRIM’s database last month.

Despite confirming its imminent arrival for Malaysia, Samsung did not reveal the tablet’s actual release day though. However, the company stated that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will carry a price tag of RM 1,699 once it arrives in Malaysia and Samsung is also planning to organize special promotion to celebrate its release in our market.

Equipped with a 10.4-inch TFT display that has a native resolution of 2000 x 1200, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 octa-core processor. One of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite biggest selling point is the fact that it comes standard with S Pen that has 4,096 pressure level and can be magnetically mounted on the side of the tablet so that users can carry it around easily.

According to Samsung Malaysia’s website, the tablet also features 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage alongside the ability to support up to 1TB MicroSD card. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is also equipped with an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera together with 7040mAh battery.

Even though both LTE and Wi-Fi variants of the tablet have appeared on SIRIM’s database, the pricing provided above is likely meant for the Wi-Fi model since the LTE version has yet to appear on Samsung Malaysia’s website. Nevertheless, we’ll keep you posted once we receive further updates from Samsung Malaysia regarding the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
