Seemingly to come out of nowhere, Apple today has announced the refreshed MacBook Air for the year 2020. Featuring the new Magic Keyboard that was adapted from the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the new model also comes with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor.
Additionally, the new model storage option begins at 256GB instead of 128GB as per its predecessor that was released in July 2019. Not only that, the starting Malaysian price for the 2020 MacBook Air is also slightly lower as well at RM 4,399 which provides users with a 10th Gen Intel Core i3 dual-core processor, and 8GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, there’s also the variant with 10th Gen Intel Core i5 quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB storage that also has a starting price of RM 5,599. For students, they can purchase them at an even much lower price of RM 3,959 and RM 5,159 respectively.
However, the Malaysian pricing for the Intel Core i7 model together with the add-on costs for additional RAM and storage space is not yet known since the purchase button on Apple Malaysia’s online store is still locked.
