Samsung has officially announced a new phone for the Malaysia market, the Galaxy A01. The latest member of the Galaxy A series, the phone is an entry-level smartphone that was clearly designed for the masses.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy A01 is powered by an octa-core processor, with four cores running at 1.95GHz, while the other four run at 1.45GHz. Additionally, the device comes with 2GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16GB. The display of the Galaxy A01 is a 5.7-inch HD display, with a teardrop notch positioned in the middle of its forehead.
Moving on, the Galaxy A01’s main camera comprises dual sensors. Specifically, a 13MP f/2.2 and 2MP f/2.4. Around the front, the notch hides a 5MP f/2.0 camera sensor for selfie duties. Powering all that up is a 3000mAh non-removable battery, which is charged via the phone’s microUSB port at the bottom.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 is already available in all Samsung Galaxy Experience stores, and authorised resellers. It retails at an SRP of RM449.
