Celcom has just announced its MEGA postpaid plan. In what looks like a unique way to do postpaid plans, it comes with a base price, with two main sets of optional extras that you can add on to your subscription.

The Celcom MEGA postpaid plan starts off at RM80. This gives you 30GB of high-speed mobile internet. But from there, you can add on extras that are split into two categories.

The first set of add-ons are called the “Unlimited Internet” options. Here, you can pick either the MEGA Unlimited M or the MEGA Unlimited L add-ons. The former costs RM18 extra, but grants you unlimited data, even after you’ve exceeded the initial 30GB quota. That said, you’ll be limited to a 5Mbps connection.

If that’s not enough, the you can choose to add RM68 instead for the MEGA Unlimited L option. This one gives you unlimited data capped at 15Mbps.

On the other hand, if high-speed data is more your thing, then the “Lightning Speed” may be for you. Here, you get the MEGA M, MEGA L and MEGA XL options. These come with 10GB extra data for an additional RM18, 30GB for RM68, and 70GB for RM108, respectively.

Especially for the “Lightning Speed” options, you can get cash back for unused data. These will be redited to your Boost e-wallet account. For now, this is only limited to RM5 for 10GB. This is currently both the minimum and maximum for now. Specific to the Lightning MEGA XL pack, you also get free roaming with the add zon.

If you’re not happy with any option you pick, you’re free to change them once per billing month. This can be done via the Celcom Life app. You can also go with just the basic MEGA plan without any add-ons if you so choose.

If you’re interested to sign up, the Celcom MEGA plan is already available. You can find out more about it on Celcom’s website, linked below.
