For months now we’ve been sitting at the edge of our seats eagerly anticipating the expansion of the MCU onto the small screen on Disney Plus. Unlike previous Marvel small screen shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Runaways, the Disney Plus slate of series will actually be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon featuring characters and actors that we’ve seen on the big screen MCU movies. There’s a number of exciting MCU series that are coming our way, including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (in which we will see Sam Wilson AKA The Falcon take on the Captain America mantle), Loki and also the MCU’s first romantic comedy, WandaVision.
Disney just released a short but awesome video to build hype for their upcoming MCU slate. We see Loki being his usual charismatic self, Wanda and Vision having a trippy reunion and best of all, we see Falcon and Winter Soldier being absolutely badass. It looks like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier could be an espionage thriller in the same vein as Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

- Marvel’s Hero Project (Docu-Series) – Will take a look at some real-life heroes and uncover the “the remarkable, positive change several young heroes are making in their own communities.”
- Marvel 616 (Docu-Series) – “is an anthological documentary series exploring the intersection between Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters and creators and the world outside your window.”
- Moon Knight (Series)
- Ms. Marvel (Series)
- She-Hulk (Series)
We’re still unsure when exactly Disney Plus will be hitting Malaysian shores. As a big fan of the MCU, I simply cannot wait!
