The realme 5s was first unveiled last month, as what is essentially a realme 5 with the realme 5 Pro’s camera. The company revealed earlier in the week that the phone will be launched here in Malaysia. That day is today, with realme Malaysia officially announcing the realme 5s.
To quickly recap, the realme 5S comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. As expected, only the 4GB + 128GB model was brought into the country. The phone also packs a 5000mAh battery.
As for cameras, it comes with a quad-camera setup. The lead unit is the 48MP sensor, followed by an 8MP wide angle camera, a 2MP portrait shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. As for the front-facing camera, it has a 13MP camera.
And finally we come to the final missing piece of information, the price. The realme 5s is priced at RM799. It will be available starting 14 December, and buying it will also get you five cases for the phone. If you prefer the online option, then it will be available on Shopee beginning 2PM of 19 December 2019. Getting it from Shopee will get you the five cases as offline pruchases, and you’ll also get an extra, in the form of the realme Buds 2.
