Two months after they were revealed to the world, Microsoft today has officially launched its latest generation of Surface products in Malaysia. Now available at retails stores throughout Malaysia, the Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 pre-order has actually begun a few weeks ago.
At the moment, the Surface Pro 7 can obtain in three different configurations:
RM 5,499: Surface Pro 7 with Intel Core i5-1035G4 + 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD.
RM 6,799: Surface Pro 7 with Intel Core i7-1065G7+ 16GB RAM + 256GB SSD.
RM 8,299: Surface Pro 7 with Intel Core i7-1065G7 + 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD.
Microsoft is also planning to release Pro 7 with Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 128GB in January 2020 although the company will only reveal its pricing at later date. Same goes for the lower-end variant with Core i3 in which its actual availability and pricing details were not revealed today.
For users that want to complete their Surface Pro experience, they can also obtain the optional Signature Type Cover keyboard which is available for RM 639. Draped in Alcantara, the backlit keyboard is available in Platinum, Ice Blue, and Poppy Red alongside the Black option which doesn’t come with the Alcantara material.
In addition to that, there’s also the Surface Pen which goes for RM 399. This particular accessory allows users to further utilize Surface Pro’s touch screen via highly natural and precise inking experience that is being delivered through the stylus’ 4,096 pressure points and rubber eraser.
Meanwhile, there is also the Surface Laptop 3 which is now available with 13.5-inch and 15-inch display. Complete with support for Surface Pen which is available as optional accessories, here are their configurations and pricing:
RM 4,499: Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch with Intel Core i5-1035G7 + 8GB RAM + 128GB SSD:
RM 5,699: Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch with Intel Core i5-1035G7 + 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD
RM 6,799: Surface Laptop 3 15-inch with AMD Ryzen 5 3580U Microsoft Surface Edition + 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD
RM 7,099: Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch with Intel Core i7-1065G7 + 16GB RAM + 256GB SSD
As mentioned earlier, all of these Surface devices are now readily available at retailers throughout Malaysia such as All IT, Gizmart by PC Image, Gloo by SNS, Harvey Norman, and TMT by Thundermatch. Alternatively, they can also be purchased through Microsoft Malaysia’s online store at Lazada and Shopee.
