The Samsung Galaxy A series is undoubtedly one of the more successful mid-range lineups the brand has ever had. Now, in the spirit of keeping the momentum going, a leak detailing the launch date of the Galaxy A 2020 series of smartphones has emerged.
The leak was posted on Twitter by the user Galaxy Mobile (@vishmon2012), who had also tagged other serial leaksters, including @UniverseIce and @OnLeaks. The initial leak is essentially an ad poster written in Vietnamese; it features the alleged Galaxy A smartphone sporting what appears to an all-screen display with a punch hole selfie camera right positioned right at the middle of its forehead.
Written at the bottom of the poster is the name “Galaxy A 2020”, followed by the phone’s inaugural launch date. In addition to the poster, Galaxy Mobile was also kind enough to follow up the leak with a planned video advertisement for the phone. All in Vietnamese, naturally.

Beyond the ads, however, there’s no details about the phone’s hardware, not even its chipset. Having said that, it is highly likely that the model we’ll be getting – should and when the phone reaches our shores – will be fitted with an up-to-date Exynos chipset.
While we would tell you to take this news with a large grain of salt, but with detailed leak such as this so close to the launch date, we understand that it’d be hard not to believe it.
