Razer recently has announced a new addition to the Kraken gaming headphones family through the introduction of Kraken Ultimate. What separates this model from many other gaming headphones in the market is the inclusion of the THX Spatial Audio feature.
According to Razer, the feature is able to provide a more accurate and natural output than the traditional 7.1 surround system. This is because it utilizes a 360-degree sound space and dynamically adjusts the output of the virtual speakers to match the audio source’s distance as well as location inside the game.
Meanwhile, the Kraken Ultimate also sports 50mm custom-tuned Neodymium magnets drivers on each of its earcups. These earcups also feature Razer Chroma RGB lighting that is adjustable through Razer Synapse 3.0 software.
Other than that, the headset also features an active noise cancelling unidirectional microphone where it cancels out background noise to provide clearer voice output. There is also a quick switch for the click to mute function on the microphone.
If you are eager to get your hands on them, Razer’s online store already begin to accept orders from Malaysia for the new Kraken Ultimate headphones which have a price tag of RM 640. Given their appearance over there, expect the Kraken Ultimate to be available from local retailers soon enough.
