Earlier this year we reported that Marvel Studios is currently working on an animated series for Disney Plus called What If. The animated series will be an anthology (each episode will tackle a different story) that imagines alternate possibilities of our favourite MCU characters. Just like in the comics, this anthology series will tell stories that explore how the Marvel Universe would’ve turned out if key moments in MCU’s history occurred differently than we know from the established canon (i.e. what if it was Peggy Carter who got injected with the super serum and not Steve? Or what if Captain America became a zombie? Ever thought what it would be like if T’Chlla was Star-Lord?). What’s cool is that the 23-episode series will feature most of the MCU cast reprising their roles.

Man, I can’t wait to catch Marvel’s What If? This looks to be a completely bonkers, fun and creative way to play around in the MCU without worrying about canon. Unfortunately, it’s still unclear as to when exactly Disney Plus will be gracing Malaysian shores. Some speculate that it may reach our region by the end of 2020, but Disney has not mentioned anything officially as of yet.
