Almost a year since its release on the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One consoles, Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally making its way to the PC. As per Rockstar Games’ announcement, the game will officially be available on the desktop from 5 November onwards via its own game launcher.

To get gamers on their PCs starts, Rockstar Games will be opening up pre-orders for the game starting tomorrow on 9 October. Customers who pre-order the game will obviously receive in-game bonuses. Including the Outlaw Survival kit, the War Horse, and a treasure map and cash bonus in Story Mode. Additionally, players will also get 50 gold bars in Red Dead Online.

In Rockstar’s effort to attract players on its own launcher, anyone who pre-orders the game through their game launcher from 9 October to 22 October will be entitled to two free games offered.

Here is the list of games you can choose if you have pre-ordered:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • LA Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

Also, if you downloaded Rockstar Games’  before 8 October, the publisher will also throw in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, making that a total of three titles along with the pre-order for Red Dead Redemption 2.

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will not just be a direct port. Rather, it will have graphical improvements and extra content for both the Story Mode and Red Dead Online.

The game will also be available via third-party platforms, including Epic Games Store, Green Man Gaming, Humble and others starting on 23 October. On a side note, players who pre-order the game from other platforms will only receive 25 gold bars instead of 50 in Red Dead Online.
