DJI last night has unveiled the latest addition to its Osmo handheld gimbal family which comes in the form of Osmo Mobile 3. One of the major design changes that the company has implemented on the new model is the foldable body which made it easier for storage and transport.
The charging and audio ports on Osmo Mobile 3 are no longer being obstructed as well, thanks to its redesigned physique. Aside from that, the Osmo Mobile 3 also now features the Quick Rotate function which allows users to swiftly switch their phone position from portrait to landscape and vice versa just by pressing the Mode button twice.
Through DJI Mimo app, the Osmo Mobile 3 also received access to other additional features such as Story Mode template, Gesture Control, Sport Mode, ActiveTrack 3.0, TimeLapse & MotionLapse, HyperLapse, Panorama, and Slow Motion. In terms of battery life, the Osmo Mobile 3 apparently able to lasts up to 15 hours.
Price-wise, the stand-alone Osmo Mobile 3 goes for USD 119 (~RM 499) while the combo package which includes Osmo Grip Tripod and Osmo Carrying Case can be obtained for USD 139 (~RM 583). However, expect these sets to cost slightly higher in our market though since local retail Shashinki has listed them at RM 589 and RM 689 respectively.
