We know that Vivo Malaysia is launching the S1 on 24 July. We also know a few things about the phone, thanks to the information Vivo Malaysia itself provided. It looks like the company has also unveiled the price of the phone, ahead of its planned launch event. At the same time, it is also opening up pre-orders for the Vivo S1.
The pre-order can be placed offline or online, depending on your preference. For the former, you can place your pre-order at Vivo stores by paying RM50. This gets you a RM100 instant rebate, as well as a Vshare K1 Bluetooth speaker worth RM99. If you prefer the online route, then it can be done either directly though Vivo Malaysia’s online store, or via its official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and PrestoMall. Pre-ordering online gets you mystery gifts worth RM149. Pre-orders are open until 26 July, and the phone itself will be available starting 27 July.
Alongside the pre-order details, Vivo Malaysia has also revealed a few more items on the S1’s spec sheet. These include a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Always On display, which also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will also come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, contrary to what we first saw with the Indonesian launch. And as for the rear cameras, it consists of a 16MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup.
As mentioned earlier, Vivo Malaysia has revealed the price of the S1, which is RM1099. It’s an odd move by the company, revealing the price before the launch of the phone itself. Either way, we’ll let you know if the company announces anything new regarding or in addition to the Vivo S1.
