As June draws near, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced the free games of the month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. And it looks like we’ll be getting two solid titles in just a couple of days.
Or technically, three games. This is because the first free game is Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. This actually consists of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Also, this title will benefit from the Ultra HD Texture Pack that was announced alongside Borderlands 3.

The other free game of June is Sonic Mania. It features the side-scrolling platforming gameplay from its early days. Also included are Tails and Knuckles in addition to Sonic as playable characters. It will also be a game you’ll want to tide you over until the delayed release of the Sonic movie after the redesign was announced.
These two games will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers to download from 5 June to 2 July 2019. You should also claim this month’s free games if you haven’t already done so.
