Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA, Apex Legends has proved to be a massive hit for both companies. In fact, it’s a hit big enough that EA has revealed during a recent quarterly earnings call that it intends to bring the game to mobile platforms.
Given its success on PC and consoles, it’s only natural that Apex Legends makes its way to mobile. Nevertheless, the game will be competing against two other giants of the battle royale genre – Fortnite and PUBG – which were also well received by mobile gamers.
However, EA didn’t reveal the release timeline for the mobile game during the earnings call though. For now, let’s hope that EA and Respawn are able to bring the same level of excitement from the desktop and console variant of the game to the mobile version as well.
