Illegear might have introduced two new gaming laptops as its way to welcome the newly launched 9th Gen Intel Core H-series processors but the local high-performance PC company still didn’t forget its older model. Specifically, the Selenite and Onyx which Illegear first introduced into the market last year.
Both of these models can now be obtained with 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor as standard. Other than that, their specs remained the same which include graphics option of up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 although the Selenite can now also be obtained with GeForce RTX 2080.
Even though the Onyx might come with a 15.6-inch display while Selenite has a bigger 17.3-inch display, both of them features a Full HD IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate and sRGB coverage of 100%. Onyx and Selenite are also able to support up to 32GB DDR4 memory, two 1TB M.2 NVMe solid state drive, and another 2TB 2.5-inch SATA solid state drive.
Price-wise, the Illegear Onyx starts from RM 6,499 while Illegear Selenite is available for RM 6,799 onwards. More details regarding both gaming laptop and hardware options for them are available at Illegear’s official website.
