Six months after it was originally made available for existing postpaid customers, Digi today has announced that its PhoneFreedom 365 ownership plan is now available for everyone. Through the plan, customers are able to obtain smartphones including some of the latest in the market via a 24-months 0% installment scheme.
Among premium phones that are available through the scheme include iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy Note 9, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20. Huawei’s latest flagship devices, P30, and P30 Pro are part of the list too even though they have not yet appeared on Digi’s official website.
Additionally, there’s also no upfront payment needed when customers sign up for the plan. Of course, this depends on whether they are eligible for the benefit which is the reason why the PhoneFreedom365 ownership plan can only be obtained through Digi Store or Digi Store Express physical branches.
Other than that, the PhoneFreedom 365 ownership plan also allows customers to upgrade their phone without the need to pay for any upgrade charges. This can be done starting from the 18th month of their installment period for Tier 1 phones or 20th month for Tier 2 phones.
For customers that choose to sign up for Digi Postpaid 190 with PhoneFreedom 365, they will also receive free Digi Shield Classic protection scheme that covers their new phones from accidental damage and liquid damage.
