While TM might have something to announce for unifi next week, the company has quietly announced that customers can now able to have unifi to be installed in their home within 24 hours. This was based on the banner that appeared on unifi’s website as well as a newly updated FAQ document.
According to the FAQ [pdf], the 24-hour installation can be obtained by both unifi and pre-unifi (Streamyx) customers that opt for Home plans. That being said, customers have to make the registration through unifi’s official website.
Additionally, the actual installation period depends on the time that customers submit their registration as shown here:
Of course, the installation time still subjected to the availability of the service at one’s home or area. Another interesting to note that this 24-hour installation option apparently costs RM 200 and the fee is currently being waived until 31 March 2019 according to the FAQ document that we mentioned earlier.
