Following the confirmation earlier this month, Realme has officially revealed that its launch event in Malaysia will take place on 7 November 2018. This comes about a month after the company established itself in Jakarta, Indonesia.
During its launch event in Jakarta, the company unveiled three smartphones, and we had some hands-on time with two of them. That said, the event invite that we received did not fully confirm which of the phones are coming to Malaysia although Realme 2 Series was indeed mentioned by name.
It’s something that’s to be expected, considering the chain of events. The company has also sent out a press release stating that it will have an official presence in Malaysia in November, even if no specific date was given back then. This is also followed by the discovery of the company’s Facebook page for Malaysia, that has since made another profile picture change.
At any rate, we’ll find out more next week regarding which phones Realme intends to bring into Malaysia, as well as their local prices.
