WeChat has announced a month-long promotion that lets you save up to RM25 when you make purchases using WeChat Pay MY. For the duration of the promotion, spending more than RM10 with any of them will get you RM5 off your purchase.
This promotion started on 25 September 2018, and will last until 24 October, 2018. You can also only claim one RM5 discount a day, and a maximum of RM25 throughout the promotion period.
So where can you use WeChat Pay MY to make use of this promotion? Previously, the only merchant that supported WeChat Pay was KK Mart. Alongside this promotion, the e-wallet has announced that has announced that five more local merchants have begun accepting payment using WeChat Pay. They are TeaLive, llaollao, Gindaco and Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari.
Making use of WeChat Pay is also simple. All you need to do is to get the WeChat app, go to the ‘Wallet’ section, and link a local bank card to it.
