A new smartphone case may solve a problem many of us have. The ADCase protects falling smartphones by deploying legs to absorb the impact of the fall.
ADCase (which stands for Active Damping Case) is a smart case for smartphones with built-in accelerometer and sensors. When it detects high-speed drops, it deploys four legs that act like cushioning springs before the phone hits the ground.
The case itself is only 4.9mm thick and adds minimal bulk to smartphones. Unfortunately, for now, the case is only designed for iPhones. Specifically, for the following models:

Apple iPhone 8/ Apple iPhone 8 Plus
Apple iPhone 7/Apple iPhone 7 Plus
Apple iPhone 6s/Apple iPhone 6s Plus
Apple iPhone 6/Apple iPhone 6 Plus
