Vivo has released quite a number of new phones in Malaysia for the past few months and there is no sign that the company is going to stop anytime soon. Recently, Vivo has added the Y81 into its line-up in our market, not long after launching the X21.
Targeted at the sub-RM 1000 market, the new Y81 is equipped with a 6.22-inch HD+ notched display and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 processor which has just been announced to the world last month. The phone is also equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Other than that, the Y81 also carries 13MP f/2.2 PDAF rear camera together with 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera that offers AI-powered beautification and face unlock security features. Pre-installed with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of its Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, the phone also comes standard with a 3260mAh battery.
Price-wise, the new Vivo Y81 can be obtained for RM 799 from physical and online retailers throughout Malaysia. Alternatively, it can also be purchased directly from Vivo Malaysia’s in-house online store.
