Ubisoft’s has officially confirmed the name of the next installment of its Assassin’s Creed franchise: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The video game developer tweeted a short six-second teaser video clip via its official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account with the message “See you at E3!”
The clip shows what seems to be a Spartan-looking character kicking another soldier off a cliff; an homage to Frank Miller’s 300. It also confirms that the game is set to take place in Ancient Greece; a timeline that dates back hundreds of years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Beyond the tweet, information about the title’s gameplay mechanics, storyline, and protagonist is scarce. The good news is that we won’t have to wait very long to find out, as E3 2018 is just around the corner.
