Huawei Malaysia is currently running a pretty interesting deal. Perhaps in anticipation on the fact that GST will be zero-rated from June 2018 onwards, certain Huawei smartphones are offered with 6% cashback. These include the Huawei P20 Pro, the luxurious Porsche Design Mate RS, and even the recently announced Nova 3E.
Needless to say, the Porsche Design smartphones got the highest amount of discount. Both the Porsche Design Mate RS and Mate 9 – which retail at RM6,999 – receive RM396 cashback. The P20 and P20 Pro, on the other hand, are discounted by RM147 and RM187 respectively. The full list of smartphones on promotion can be found below.
According to Huawei Malaysia, the 6% cashback will end on 31 May 2018 – right before GST is zero-rated. It remains to be seen if these phones will retain their promotional prices come next month. You can check out the new prices over at Huawei’s official Lazada store.
