Teasers of an upcoming smartphone from Lenovo is lighting up the internet. The Lenovo Z5 will to be the first smartphone with virtually nothing on the front of the phone; these includes bezels, notch, and home button.
Lenovo’s VP, Chang Cheng, posted on Weibo an image while asking his followers to guess the screen-to-body ratio of the Z5. He presented them with four choices: 80-84%, 85-89%, 90-94%, or 95%. He has yet to reveal the right answer as of publication.
From the images posted, the phone looks to be a truly bezel-less phone. Interesting that Lenovo is using a curved design, without the use of any curved glass. The question is will there be a cutout for the selfie camera/earpiece, or will Lenovo use some other method to deliver sound and front imaging to the consumer.
Lenovo also mentioned that the Z5 will be officially unveiled on 14 June (just in time for Raya), so stay tuned to check it out.
