Lazada has launched a promotion to help buyers build their own home gaming rig from scratch. The online retailer is not only offering discounts on PC components, but also offering to help users choose the best parts that suits their budgets.
The ‘Build Your Monster Machine‘ promotion leads customers by the hand on the process of building a gaming rig. It starts with the selection of a motherboard, and the proceeds to fill out the necessary parts one at a time. The components come from either Brightstar or HLK Gaming, who are also providing their expertise through Lazada’s new chat function (which is only available in the app).
Lazada’s retailers will also build the system once the sale has been confirmed. Leaving practically no effort on the part of the customer.
A couple of pre-built systems are also being offered for those who find the process of selecting parts overwhelming. It won’t actually be cheaper than carefully selecting components; but it may be a lot faster.
One thing to keep in mind is that PC components are still experiencing relatively high prices, especially for graphics cards and RAM. This is due to a combination of high demand of GPU from cryptocurrency miners and supply issues with memory manufacturers.
Still, the Lazada Build Your Monster Machine promotion runs from today until 15 May.
