Celcom Axiata Berhad has announced a strategic partnership with Hong Leong Bank as a part of the former’s customer experience improvement. The partnership allows all Celcom FIRST postpaid subscribers and Hong Leong credit card owners can enjoy cashback and savings when they purchase device bundles from the telco using selected Hong Leong credit cards.

The device bundles available include the latest flagship smartphones, such as Apple iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Huawei P20, Samsung Galaxy S9, just to name a few.

To be eligible for a RM500 cashback with an additional RM300 in savings, customers must apply for a new Hong Leong credit card and use it to purchase a mobile device worth a minimum of RM2,000 (inclusive of upfront payment) in a single receipt by 31 August 2018. They must then sign-up for a new Celcom FIRST plan;and enroll for auto-billing with the telco; which also has a monthly minimum charge of RM98 for 24 months consecutively.

Similarly, the Hong Leong is also offering an RM500 cashback to its new credit cardholders when they perform a cumulative minimum retail spend of RM2,000 within 90 days from card approval date. This is on top of subscribing to Celcom’s autobilling facility with a minimum charge for RM98 monthly for 24 months consecutively.

Hong Leong credit card users are also entitled for a rebate on the Celcom Passport, worth RM138, when they spend a minimum of RM2,000 for overseas transactions. The 7-day 3-in-1 Celcom Passport allows travellers on Celcom to international roam with 3GB Internet data, unlimited calls and SMS in over 30 countries.

However, note that only new-to-card customers are eligible for this promotion. Customers have until 31 July 2018 to apply for a new Hong Leong credit card. For more information, visit www.celcom.com.my or any of Celcom bluecube.
