The launch of Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone is only a couple of days away, and it would appear that a picture of the finished product has leaked. The design looks far more elaborate than what we expect from a modern smartphone; but fits the style of gaming devices.
The image only shows the back of the phone showing off a large device with the Black Shark logo at the centre. Also present are dual rear cameras with an LED flash. The upper portion of the phone looks to be fitted with an extra peripheral, likely a controller extension for finer gaming controls.
The device was spotted on both AnTuTu and Geekbench a while back, where some specs of the phone were revealed. The Black Shark gaming phone will apparently run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform with a sizable 8GB of RAM. This will definitely be more than enough for it to perform decently as a mobile gaming phone. Other potential specs include a surround sound feature, OLED screen with 120Hz display and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
With the announcement for the Black Shark gaming phone is set on April 13, we don’t have to wait long to find out what the company have to offer for its gaming phone.
