Entry Level Moto G6 And Moto G6 Play Leak

The upcoming Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play phones by Motorola have leaked, leaving little surprise for their official launch. Based on the specifications, the two smartphones are just another standard budget phones offering by Motorola.

The leaks about the Moto G6 Play are rather limited. What we do know is that it will have a 5.7-inch display of HD+ resolution and is said to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset. The phone will also come with a single 13MP camera with a Rapid Focus technology on the back. Powering the phone will be a big 4000mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Moto G6 will be the pricier of the two, as it is equipped with better specs than the Moto G6 Play. The Moto G6 will have the same 5.7-inch screen with a more capable Snapdragon 450 processor on board. The phone will come in either a 3GB+32GB or a 4GB+64GB of RAM and internal storage. The G6 also has an upgraded camera. The front houses a single 16MP camera while the back is a 12MP+5MP dual camera set up.

Curiously, the battery is smaller than that found in the G6 Play; being only 3,000mAh.

The two phones will be Motorola’s first devices with an 18:9 display. Despite the tall aspect ratio, the bezels of the two phones are pretty thick compared to their rivals. This can be attributed to the placement of the fingerprint scanner at the bottom of the screen. Both of the phones look to have a LED Flash on the front.

According to Killer Features, pricing for the G6 Play will start at $199 (RM768) while the G6 starts at $249 (RM962). The leaks suggest that the two phones might be announced soon.
