Asus Malaysia has announced price reductions for several of its gaming notebooks that are part of its ROG Strix Scar Edition and FX series. Despite the new prices, customers are still eligible to participate in the on-going Time To ROG G-Shock redemption promotion.
Under the promotion, customers who purchase an eligible ROG gaming notebook with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU will be able to redeem a ROG x G-Shock limited edition watches although they are limited to only 100 units. Alternatively, they also able to get the watch through a lucky draw when purchasing a ROG gaming laptop with either GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1060 GPU.
That aside, Asus gaming notebooks that will be bestowed with a price cut include the ROG Strix Scar Edition GL703V and the ROG Strix Scar Edition GL503V. These gaming laptops now come with a new promotional price of RM6899 (GL703V) and RM6399 (GL503V) respectively – a RM1,000 reduction off their original prices.
Next up are the Asus FX series notebooks which include the FX503V-ME4118T, FX503V-DE4339T, FX503V-DE4258T, and FX503V-DDM175T. Unlike the ROG Strix Scar Edition notebooks, the discounts for Asus’ FX series notebooks are provided through cash back promotion.
While we not exactly sure how the cash back promotion work, customers are able to get these notebooks at reduced prices of RM 5599, RM 4099, RM 3899, and RM 3399 respectively. Further information this promotion can be obtained through Asus Malaysia’s official Facebook page.
If you don’t mind foregoing the free ROG G-Shock and prefer to save a little bit more cash from your purchase instead, we noticed that some online retailer have actually listed all the laptops above at a much lower prices. For example, the ROG Strix Scar Edition GL703V can be obtained for RM 6799 while the smaller GL503V goes for RM 6299.
The discounts are much more noticeable for the FX series though as the FX503V-ME4118T is being listed here for RM 5199. Furthermore, the FX503V-DE4339T, FX503V-DE4258T, and FX503V-DDM175T can also be purchased for as low as RM 3799, RM 3599, and RM 3149 respectively.
All in all, your wallet will be thankful to you regardless of the promo that you would select in order to purchase any of the ASUS gaming laptops that were mentioned above.
