Given the amount of publicity that vivo has pushed towards this upcoming device, you might have heard about vivo V9 by now. Nevertheless, it is only today that the company has begin to launch the phone in selected market throughout the world starting with Thailand.
With that, vivo has also confirmed the official specifications of the phone. Similar to what we have heard before, the V9 is equipped with 6.3-inch 19:9 IPS display which also has a native resolution of 2280 x 1080.
Other than that, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Pre-installed with Funtouch OS 4.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo, V9 also carries a 3260 mAh battery.
In terms of photography, the V9 relies on a set of 16MP f/2 camera and 5MP depth sensor on its rear together with 24MP f/2 front camera. Both of these cameras apparently feature enhancements that are being driven by AI technology.
In Thailand, the V9 is priced at THB 10,999 which equals to around RM 1,377. While its price tag in Malaysia is not yet known for the time being, the wait is not going to be long though as V9 will be launched in our market on 26 March. So, stay tuned.
