OPPO Malaysia recently has revealed that customers are able to get their hands on its R9s smartphone for just under RM 1,000. Aside from that, a number of other OPPO devices are available for less than their original launch price.
Originally launched in January 2017, the R9s is still the company’s highest-end device although it is already aging at the moment and is equipped with mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Originally comes with a price tag of RM 1798, OPPO is now offering the R9s at RM 999 which is a huge reduction.
Its bigger brother, the R9s Plus has also received a price cut. However, it is nowhere as big as R9s though since the discount is only RM 200 which brings down the price of the R9s Plus from RM 2498 to RM 2299. That price tag is rather hefty for a Snapdragon 653-based phone in 2018.
As for other OPPO models that are available on discounts, here is the list:
OPPO A57 – RM 699 (Original price: RM 1098)
OPPO A71 – RM 629 (Original price: RM 858)
OPPO A37 – RM 598 (Original price: RM 798)
