Biostar has unveiled its latest product in the form of a motherboard made for 6th and 7th generation Intel Core processors (LGA 1151). Dubbed the H110MDE, Biostar’s latest motherboard is made to cater for users who wishes to build a budget-oriented system based on either Skylake or Kaby Lake processors.
Design-wise, the Biostar H110MDE features an all black PCB along with a few yellow coloured components. It’s worth keeping in mind that this motherboard comes in the micro-ATX form factor (215mm x 170mm); this means that it can be easily fitted onto most PC chassis, especially small form factor ones.
When it comes to specifications, Biostar’s H110MDE motherboard is fitted with two DDR4 DIMM memory slots, which are compatible with RAMs of up to 2400MHz in bandwidth. In addition, the maximum RAM capacity support on this motherboard is 32GB. This mainboard is also fitted one with PCIe 3.0 x16 and PCIe 2.0 x1 slots each as well.
Storage and USB support include four SATA3 connectors; two USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports each. Other essential ports that can be found on the H110MDE motherboard are one DVI and VGA ports each. Those aside, Biostar has mentioned that its newest motherboard will be priced at US$54.99 (about RM215). To make the deal even more “enticing”, the company has also bundled a free BullGuard Antivirus software along with the H110MDE motherboard. Local pricing and release date were not mentioned at the time of writing.
