Maxis has announced a new Hotlink Red prepaid pack. While the name remains the same, Maxis has tweaked the basic offerings available to new prepaid users; providing what it believes is the best for those just adopting mobile internet.
The RM10 Hotlink Red pack includes RM5 of preloaded airtime, 300MB mobile data, and 10GB high-speed data dedicated solely for Facebook. It’s a prepaid subscription, so there’s not much else to mention at this point.
Maxis has also revamped its mobile prepaid internet passes for the release of the new prepaid offering. The restructured “data plans” offer a choice between free zero-rated mobile chat (Line, WeChat, WhatsApp) and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Pinterest).
Existing Hotlink users can also opt into the new Red subscription through the Hotlink RED App, by going to ‘My Account’ and selecting ‘Change’ next to ‘Rateplan’; or by dialing *100*6*1#.
