Gaming laptop brand Thunderobot has officially begun selling products in Malaysia. There are four products available at launch; with a range of additional accessories set to be launched later this year. Although, we had already spotted the Thunderobot official store on Lazada earlier this week.
As we reported earlier, Thunderobot is offering the 911SE, 911GT, ST Plus, and Dino here in Malaysia. These are largely entry and mid-range laptops, although the higher end of the range are capable of running virtual reality software and games.
The laptops are available through Lazada, the official online retailer for the brand, or through any of the authorised dealers. Lazada is also offering first dibs on the Thunderobot Hunter M301 gaming mouse by bundling it with each purchase of a Thunderobot laptop. This is a limited time offer, although the online retailer is not giving a precise timeline for how long it will last. We’re told that the mouse is only available for the first 50 customers.
For reference, the Thunderobot the ST Plus is priced at RM4899; the 911SE at RM4499; the 911GT at RM7099; and the Dino at RM8899.
Thunderobot’s gaming peripherals and accessories include a range of mechanical keyboards, gaming mice, headphones, and laptop bags. The keyboards feature switched from Cherry, and include a chrome finish on top of the RGB lighting.
There’s no pricing yet on these accessories, and are scheduled for a release at some point after Chinese New Year. In fact, the aforementioned Hunter M301 gaming mouse from Lazada purchases is the only peripheral that will appear in Malaysia before that time. Although, it will not be sold separately.
Speaking of additional products, Thunderobot also has plans to introduce two more mid-range laptops at some point in 2018. The particulars of these two laptops is as yet uncertain.
