It looks like Maxis has a big surprise for all of its new and existing subscribers; the telco recently added 10GB of data to all of its MaxisONE plans. What’s even more surprising is that it has remove its weekend and weekday internet split, which means that you can now get up to 60GB of data each month for use for the entire month.

Maxis is still offering the same four MaxisONE plans with unlimited calls and SMS – MaxisONE 98/128/158/188. All of these plans now come with an additional 10GB of data each month. For the lowest MaxisONE Plan 98, the data is still split into two – 15GB all-day data and 15GB 4G weekend data. Subscribers to this plan may opt to merge this data for RM10 a month, which means that subscribers can get 30GB of all-day data for a total of RM108.

As for the rest of the plans, MaxisONE Plan 128/158/188, they now come with 40GB, 50GB and 60GB of all-day data; no more weekday and weekend data split. The new plans are as follows:

If you are an existing MaxisONE Plan subscriber, you do not need to do anything. Maxis will automatically upgrade all of its MaxisONE Plan customers to the enhances MaxisONE Plan starting from today, 7 December 2017 onwards. For MaxisONE Plan 98 subscribers who wish to combine your all-day and 4G weekend data for an additional RM10 a month, you may walk into any nearby Maxis Centre or call 123 to change your rate plan; this will appear as MaxisONE Share 108 in your bill.
