The Authorised Mi Store in IOI City Mall has been operational for a few weeks now, and this Friday, it will finally have its grand opening. Much like the official launch of the Mi Store in Suria KLCC, the company will be running a promotion on that day.
Unfortunately, it appears the promotion won’t be quite as compelling this time around. According to Xiaomi Malaysia, only the first 100 customers to purchase any Mi phone at the IOI City Mall outlet on 8 December will receive a complimentary Xiaomi Mi Band 2. Not exactly a very good offer, but it’s still a pretty neat deal.
Of course, the company could reveal more promotions at the grand opening itself, though there’s no real way of knowing until then.
This is the third Authorised Mi Store to open in Malaysia, and it’s only the second one located in the Klang Valley area. Previously, the only Mi Store accessible those who are not in Penang is located in Suria KLCC; we imagine the outlet in IOI City Mall will make it easier for consumers to visit a physical Xiaomi store.
